The festive spirit has hit the island of Ibiza!
You may think that our 300+ days of sunshine a year means that Christmas doesn’t feel very “Christmassy”, but that’s far from the truth. Ibiza has a way of making the holidays feel special, with a whole array of things to do including family activities, Christmas markets, and even nights on the dance floor for the big kids!
Here’s our guide to just some of the island’s top Christmas things to do in 2024.
Christmas Markets
There’s a choice of markets to choose from throughout December, all perfect for gift-buying or simply to soak up the festive spirit. Not only are there stalls from many of Ibiza’s artisans, but you’ll find kids’ corners, fairground rides and food and drink for all the family.
Children’s Christmas Party at Pacha Ibiza
Ibiza’s iconic super club, Pacha, turns into a family playground for its annual Children’s Christmas Party, supporting local charities along the way. The kids can enjoy face painting, games, and a chance to meet a very special guest!
An absolute must-visit with your children this Christmas. Classic rides like bumper cars and a pirate ship keep kids squealing with excitement, while churros and hot chocolate add a delicious festive touch. There are food stalls, fun and games every single day of the week and discounted rides for the children on Wednesdays.
Festive Dining
Ibiza’s festive dining scene offers a variety of options, with top restaurants presenting special menus that cater to all tastes. From the beautiful beachfront setting of Cala Bonita to the countryside charm of A Mi Manera, and the glamour of Pacha’s El Restaurante, there’s something for everyone.
Venues like MIRA Ibiza and CBbC Marina Sta Eulalia elevate the dining experience with creative menus, live music, and scenic backdrops, perfect for festive celebrations.
Ibiza’s restaurants really do make the holiday season unforgettable, but make sure to book so you’re not disappointed.
Discover the Island
Enjoy Ibiza on foot with Ibiza Outdoors. They’ve planned an unforgettable two-day walking and dining event, designed to connect nature enthusiasts and food lovers. Explore the stunning countryside, soak in the fresh air, and work up an appetite before indulging in a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
On Saturday, December 21, the walk takes you through the hills of the Ses Salinas National Park and on Sunday, December 22, the adventure leads to the intriguing Jellyfish Cave in the island’s northeast.
On New Year’s Eve, there’s a special excursion to a site of historical significance near the charming village of San Mateo in northern Ibiza. The event includes a reflective ceremony to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with positivity. Find out more.
Club Nights and New Year’s Eve Parties
Ibiza’s legendary nightlife doesn’t take a holiday break. Island favourites such as Akasha keep the party alive all through winter, with club nights every weekend, as well as a big New Year’s Eve party. Pacha will famously host its Music On party to see in 2025, and smaller clubs and bars keep Ibiza dancing throughout December and into January.
A Christmas to Remember in Ibiza
Whether you’re visiting Ibiza with family or friends, the island offers unforgettable experiences this holiday season. From festive fairs and cultural celebrations to lively club nights, there’s something for everyone.
