Meet Lucia

You may have already seen this on our social media, but we are so happy to welcome Lucia, our new Office Assistant, to the Villa Contact team!

Lucia has already brought amazing energy to the team, and we’re excited to have her on board. To introduce her, we sat down together for a quick chat to hear about her Ibiza journey, favourite spots, and recommendations for exploring the island.

Discovering Ibiza

When we asked Lucia about her time on the island, she shared that Ibiza wasn’t always on her radar. “My first time was last season,” she told us. “I came here with friends to change things up since we always do summers in Uruguay. It was fun to do it as a little group of girls.” After Ibiza, she spent a month in Madrid with her sister before returning to Ibiza for good!

This year is extra special, as Lucia is experiencing her very first Ibiza winter. “Last year, I went back to Uruguay to say goodbye to my family, after deciding to stay here on the island.” Having settled in Ibiza since January, she also enjoyed a short stint in Barcelona. Now she’s eager to dive into the quieter side of the island’s off-season.

Ibiza Weekend Favourites

When the weekend rolls around, Lucia loves to explore the island’s many markets. “I really enjoy the little markets in all the towns,” she shared. She recently visited the San Carlos and Santa Eulalia markets, both known for their charm and local artisan stalls. Her top pick, though, is Las Dalias Night Market, because of how lively it is.

Where to Eat in Ibiza

Food is another passion for Lucia, and she’s already found her go-to spots. “My favourite place to eat is Atzaro Beach in Cala Nova,” she said, followed closely by La Escollera in Las Salinas. Lucia has also discovered a local favourite Taco Paco in Santa Eulalia.

Beach Days and Hidden Gems

For Lucia, no weekend is complete without some beach time. Her top choice? Cala d’en Serra. “I enjoy it a lot, although it’s a bit difficult to get to. It’s definitely worth it!” The secluded beauty and crystal-clear waters make it her favourite escape.

And for anyone new to the island, Lucia recommends visiting Portinax. “It’s a lovely beach with great sunsets,” she noted, adding that it’s a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.

Join us in welcoming Lucia, and make sure to say hi when you pop in to visit us in Santa Eulalia.
